Why does social media matter when selling or letting your home?

Did you know that statistically only 43% of properties sell through the portals, Rightmove and Zoopla, leaving 57% selling by other means.

When Sefftons are called out on valuations of property for sale or to let in Norfolk and Suffolk, a question often posed to us is about adding value to property.

There was much media fanfare, nationally and locally, about record monthly property price increases in January 2022. The figure varied from area to area, but across the UK, it was heralded as a 0.8% increase in January alone. This may not sound like a huge increase but if you were buying a property for £1 million in North Norfolk, for example, that increase in one month alone could equate to £8,000.

They say all publicity is good publicity, but we’re not sure if that hold trues all the time! What we do know though is that tongues have been wagging locally and nationally about a property we’re selling in Norwich.
